Originally from Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador, Caleb is a Registered Kinesiologist and Strength & Cinditioning Coach with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier, more active lives. He holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University and is currently completing his Master of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, continuing to expand his knowledge and clinical skills.

Caleb believes that exercise is one of the most powerful tools for improving health, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, training for your next race, looking to improve athletic performance, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more confident in your everyday activities, he is committed to helping you reach your goals through individualized, evidence-based exercise programs.

His approach focuses on building strength, improving movement, and creating sustainable habits that empower clients long after they leave the clinic. Caleb enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, taking the time to understand each person’s goals and designing programs that are both challenging and achievable.

Outside of the clinic, Caleb practices what he preaches. He is an avid runner, cyclist, swimmer, and strength athlete who enjoys pushing his own limits through endurance sports and resistance training. Olivia Haley, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Olivia is a graduate with honours from the Academy Canada Massage Therapy Program (2025) and is a member in good standing with the CMTNL. She is proud to be part of the Vital team and looks forward to supporting clients in achieving their health and wellness goals.

With a lifelong background in athletics, Olivia has been actively involved in sports from a young age. Following high school, she developed a strong passion for strength training, particularly powerlifting, where she competed for several years. This experience has given her a deep appreciation for the role of rehabilitation in recovery, as well as a strong understanding of body mechanics and the importance of targeted exercise in injury prevention.

Olivia is trained in therapeutic and deep tissue massage and is committed to ongoing professional development to expand her skills across a variety of treatment approaches. Maddy Kennedy, B.Kin (hons)

Registered Kinesiologist, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Maddy is a Registered Kinesiologist with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. During her degree, she completed honours research exploring how young, inexperienced sport officials manage conflict—research she is currently preparing for publication.

A lifelong athlete, Maddy has been passionate about volleyball since the age of 12. She has competed with Team Newfoundland and Labrador in both indoor and beach volleyball, played for Memorial University’s varsity volleyball team, and proudly represented the province at the 2022 Canada Games. Her experience extends beyond competition, having coached athletes through Gonzaga High School’s varsity girls’ volleyball program and CBS Volleyball’s club teams.

Maddy is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities build strength, recover from injury, and move with confidence. Suzanne LaCour, BPE, BEd, RAc Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Practitioner

Suzanne is a compassionate and highly trained Registered Acupuncturist dedicated to helping her clients restore balance, vitality, and overall well-being. A graduate of the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with a Diploma in Acupuncture, Suzanne blends time-honored healing traditions with a modern understanding of movement and the human body.

Her treatments may include acupuncture needling, fire cupping, ear seed therapy, tongue diagnosis, Gua Sha, and Meridian Massage — carefully selected to meet each client’s unique needs. Suzanne approaches every session with calm, grounded energy, creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where clients feel truly supported.

With degrees in Physical Education and Education, Suzanne brings extensive knowledge of anatomy, movement, and rehabilitation into her practice. Erica Norman, BEnd, MScPT

Clinic Director & Registered Physiotherapist

Erica discovered her love of movement through dance at age four and trained in Cecchetti ballet for ten years before becoming an instructor with The Dance Centre.

She later completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2015 and worked in both the energy and biomedical sectors.

After experiencing rehabilitation firsthand following a health challenge in 2017, Erica was inspired to pursue physiotherapy. By 2019, she completed a Master’s in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, where she also volunteered with the Jordanhill Rugby Club as a physiotherapist and first responder.

Erica has since pursued additional training in concussion rehabilitation, pelvic floor dysfunction, acupuncture, and dry needling.

She is passionate about patient-centred care and helping people regain strength, confidence, and return to the activities they love.

Jesse Tom, BBA, BScPT

Physiotherapist

Jesse is a dedicated Physiotherapist with a diverse academic background and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. A proud first-generation Chinese-Canadian, he began his professional journey in business, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University. Motivated by a desire to make a direct impact on people’s lives, Jesse went on to pursue a career in physiotherapy, uniting his analytical mindset with a lifelong passion for movement, exercise, and rehabilitation.

Jesse earned his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in England in 2024. Throughout his clinical training, he developed broad experience across orthopaedics, community health, acute care rehabilitation, and palliative care. He also gained valuable sports physiotherapy experience working with the Bury Football Club U23 team in Manchester, supporting athletes in performance, injury prevention, and recovery.

Jesse takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, emphasizing education and both hands-on and individualized exercise therapy. He works collaboratively with patients to build confidence in movement and empower them throughout their rehabilitation journey. Whether helping individuals recover from injury, return to sport, or regain function for everyday activities, Jesse is dedicated to delivering high-quality, goal-driven care.

Originally from Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Jesse values building strong relationships and meaningful connections within the communities he serves.
